In the heart of Nancy, Place Stanislas, a perfect example of French classicism, is considered the most beautiful royal square in Europe. A jewel of the 18th-century architectural ensemble, it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with Place d'Alliance and Place de la Carrière.

Built by Emmanuel Héré, it is surrounded by finely crafted, gold-embellished railings made by the ironworker Jean Lamour, and two majestic fountains designed by Barthélémy Guibal. The town hall, the Opera-Theatre, and the Museum of Fine Arts are among the classical-style buildings located around the square.

Since 1831, the statue of Stanislas Leszczynski, former King of Poland who became Duke of Lorraine, has stood in the center of the square that bears his name.

Place Stanislas, now entirely pedestrianized, becomes the summer stage for a remarkable sound and light show every year.

I am amazed by this place, its space, its elegance, its beauty, everything is perfect!!!
